Christmas Lunch served in Parish Hall for Thursday Lunch Club

On Thursday 20 December, the Thursday Lunch Club (TLC) gathered for Christmas Lunch in the hall at Corpus Christi.  Sonsored by a a generous donation from the Bring Joy Foundation, everybody, including guests and helpers, enjoyed a free lunch together with Christmas crackers and a drink.  

TLC is for elderly people living alone in Headington, providing not just excellent meals but also companionship and an enjoyable outing for a home-cooked two course lunch with tea, coffee and chocolates – and a free raffle, for which donations as prizes (biscuits, chocolates, etc) are always welcome.  If you or a friend or neighbour would like to come along, or if you have time once a month and would like to help as a cook, driver, server or in another capacity, please ring Katya Drummond on 01865 763161.  Happy New Year!
