Parish Children's Choir first CD is sell-out!

The talented children of Corpus Christi, under the direction of choir master, Lizel Truman, have made a Christmas CD of wonderful music which sold out within minutes of being offered for sale.

The music is varied and appealing, opening and closing with We Wish You a Merry Christmas and ranging from traditional Church carols such as Mary's Boy Child Jesus and Silent Night,  through to popular children's songs such as Jingle Bells and Christmas Alphabet.

Lizel said, "Serving God through music is such a fulfilling task – I never thought that some day I would lead a talented group of children who continuously make me so proud."

Parish Priest, Fr Mervyn Tower, said, "Our parish is a lively Catholic community with members from many different parts of the world.  We join together in faith Sunday by Sunday and our choirs and our instrumental groups with their music are essential to our Sunday worship."

If you would like to hear the children singing, you are welcome to come along to 6.30pm Mass at Corpus Christi on the 1st Sunday of each month.
